Consort - further information welcomeThe photograph below was submitted by website visitor Bill Stephenson
Bill Stephenson wrote to me earlier this year requesting further information about the Norfolk Broads cruiser Consort. I know from previous experience that a posting on these pages can often prove fruitful, so I hope that someone can provide more information about Consort, even if it's to say that she's longer afloat. Please post any details via the Guestbook and I'll contact Bill directly. Note - Your e-mail address will not be displayed in the Guestbook. Many thanks. This is what Bill had to say - "I am attaching a photograph of my two aunts sitting on the Consort in 1950. I believe this was taken at Potter Heigham. This shows that the hull was white, unlike the Consort displayed on the website you gave me. I recently spoke to a cousin who was with us and she is certain that we rented from a boatyard in Thorpe. I wonder if this is enough information for you to guide me further. I do appreciate your help."
